When we feel safe we are able to concentrate, focus, have more awareness of the world around us and express ourselves more fully each day. Feeling safe allows us to recognise danger and make better choices for ourselves and others. This video highlights the pertinence of safety in our lives and how to re-establish a feeling of safety after an intense/traumatic events, including abusive situations and relationships.
