In this video I give an example of how advertisers try to exploit our insecurities in order to sell us products that we may not inherently need or even desire.

The aim of this video is to make you aware of some of the ways advertisers manipulate our emotions to try and sell us products so that you can become more aware of whether you are purchasing something out of genuine need/desire or because you think it may fill some 'void' within you.

The truth is that there is no product that will fulfil your sense of worthiness BUT if you have an insecurity that these advertisers can exploit, you may be buying into the idea that their product will make you feel better about yourself- this simply is not true. You may feel happier in the moment, but nothing external will ever help you gain a consistent sense of self-worth- this comes from within!
